NOVELTY/PRE-EXAMINATION
Search is conducted in an effort to locate prior art that might be considered relevant by an Examiner when processing a patent application. The search begins with keyword search strategies in an effort to help the searcher identify the most relevant US classifications. Then, the search is shifted to include a patent-by-patent review of the identified relevant US classifications. The report will reflect the field of search, any consultation with Examiner(s), a list of the identified references and suggestions regarding additional searching (if appropriate).
ELECTRICAL/CHEMICAL OR COMPLEX MECHANICAL NOVELTY/PRE-EXAMINATION
Search is conducted for electrical, chemical or complex mechanical subject matter to locate prior art that might be considered relevant by an Examiner when processing a patent application. The search begins with keyword search strategies in an effort to help the searcher identify the most relevant US classifications. Then, the search is shifted to include a patent-by-patent review of the identified relevant US classifications. The report will reflect the field of search, any consultation with Examiner(s), a list of the identified references and suggestions regarding additional searching (if appropriate).
SOFTWARE, INTERNET, BUSINESS METHODS NOVELTY/PRE-EXAMINATION
Search is conducted in the highly competitive software/Internet/business methods arts to locate prior art that might be considered relevant by an Examiner when processing a patent application. Due to the complex and voluminous nature of the art, sufficient authorization is necessary in order to facilitate a comprehensive search. If desired, a detailed search report will be provided reflecting the field of search, any consultation with Examiner(s), a list of the identified references and suggestions regarding additional searching (if appropriate).
ACCELERATED EXAMINATION (AE) SEARCH
Search is conducted in an effort to locate prior art that might be considered relevant by an Examiner when processing an accelerated examination patent application. The search begins with keyword search strategies in an effort to help the searcher identify the most relevant US and foreign classifications. Then, the search is shifted to include a patent-by-patent review of the relevant US classifications and foreign classifications. Additionally, the search may include searching of non-patent literature (NPL) databases or publications. The report will reflect the field of search, any consultation with Examiner(s), the keyword strategy, the databases covered and a list of the identified references. Finally, a pre-examination support document (PESD) will be provided to be filed by the applicant in accordance with the requirements set forth by the USPTO.
INVALIDITY/INFRINGEMENT/RIGHT-TO-USE
Search is conducted in an effort to locate art that might be considered relevant with respect to invalidity, infringement or right-to-use considerations. Sufficient authorization is necessary in order to provide reasonable time to search the relevant art areas. Per Diem rates will apply after the minimum charge is expended. A detailed report will be provided in accordance with client preferences.
STATE-OF-THE-ART-
Search is conducted in an effort to reflect a representative cross-section of the art, plotting the technological advances of the given subject matter. The report will reflect the field of search, any consultation with Examiner(s), a list of the identified references, a broad description of the developed art and suggestions regarding additional searching (if appropriate).

Search is conducted to gather comprehensive group of patents relating to a given subject matter. The report will reflect the field of search, any consultation with Examiner(s), a list of the identified references, a broad description of the developed art and suggestions regarding additional searching (if appropriate).
ASSIGNMENT/OWNERSHIP AND MAINTENANCE FEE INQUIRIES
Search is conducted to ascertain the Ownership, Chain-of-Title, or Maintenance Fee status of a patent or patents. Matters requiring extensive search time will be billed on an hourly basis of $75/hour.
