Intellectual Property Research, Incorporated was established in January of 1999, by president and founder Deane O. Elliott. After spending over ten years as a fulltime Patent researcher for a law firm located in Arlington, Virginia, Mr. Elliott started the Company in order to meet the growing demand for high quality research services at reasonable prices. In addition to conducting patent searches for the law firm, Mr. Elliott was also responsible for overseeing the overall operation of the patent research department. Additionally, Mr. Elliott spent several years conducting Trademark and Copyright searches for the firm.

Intellectual Property Research, Inc. is comprised of experienced, professional researchers whose primary objectives are to provide quality Patent research services. Our location near the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) in Virginia facilitates direct access to the Public Search Room (PSR), Patent Examiners and other branches of the USPTO.
